HOW TO LOOK GOOD & HELP THE ENVIRONMENT
This month we want to shine the light on our manufacturers who are taking an active part in reducing waste in our landfills.
First one up is Barco. They have developed a line of uniforms called Barco One.

The Barco One fabric is made from 50% Polyester, 43% Recycled Polyester and 7% Spandex, giving you five points of performance: Recycled fabric, 4-way Stretch, Soil Release, Moisture Wicking, and Wrinkle Resistant. They use an average of five recycled plastic bottles per garment! You get one pant, top and jacket and you have removed 15 bottles from a landfill! They don't stop at that, they are also reducing energy usage by 84% and CO2 emissions by 71% in the production of this Polyester fabric, making this a much "Greener" and sustainable fabric.
If you are as old as me, you remember the Polyester Leisure Suits from the 70's; well this ain't your Daddy's polyester! The Barco One fabric is cool, practically weightless and breathable. The super fine weave allows it to drape beautifully while the 7% spandex gives you just enough stretch for all day comfort. Many of the tops and jackets in the Barco One line have strategically placed panels of ArcTech Perforated Fabric for maximum air flow to keep you cool even when the heat is on.
The Barco One line comes in nine Core Colors and nine Fashion Colors. The Fashion Colors come and go with the seasons while the Core Colors are available year round. This is a line that truly has something for everyone, men's and ladies styles and sizes from XXS to 5X with pants available in regular, petite and tall.
I would be remiss if I didn't also mention the "Seamless" Long Sleeve Tees for both men and women. These are made from 60% Polyester, 23% Nylon and a whopping 17% Spandex for moisture wicking, odor control, four way stretch and they are chafe-free!
