NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS - NEW YEAR NEW YOU
So we are two weeks into a new month, a new year and a new decade. Have your New Year’s resolutions stuck with you or have they already faded into a distant memory?
I can say that so far I’m hanging in and killing it with my resolution to get fit. Yeah, it’s only been two weeks, but I can feel the difference already. I’m not just feeling it in the fit of my cloths, but also in my energy level. Who knew being a couch potato and a computer junky could drain your energy. (Yes the docs and jocks told me this but, I was like, I don’t think so.)
It’s time to begin the process of pulling cloths from the back of the closet (relocated there because they were getting a bit tight) to the front. Please don’t judge me. You know we all have a size range in our closet that starts at our skinny jeans and goes up to our fat pants.
Now the question is, do I keep the larger sizes, just in case, or do I get them out of the house and pass them to someone who could use them? Come on! Stay strong! Don’t leave yourself an opportunity to back slide. Right! Out they go to the clothing drop box in the church parking lot.
Oh, now look at all the room I have for new clothes! Good thing I have an outlet for all the newest styles in healthcare apparel. www.uniformsandscrubs.com
So what are the top 10 New Year’s Resolutions?
Is yours on the list? From my simple resolution to exercise and lose weight, it has opened the door to other items on the list. Enjoy life more, learn something new, get organized, more family time and hopefully helping others by being a cheer leader for their efforts.
Here is to making good choices, putting self-care at least equal to caring for others and being a person who makes a difference!
